6ABC.com is reporting on an accident involving a SEPTA bus in North Philadelphia.

The accident occurred at approximately 9:25 AM on Tuesday at North 29th Street and Cambria.

For unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the bus, causing it to run off the roadway and into two utility poles. The bus eventually came to rest when it hit a fence surrounding the parking lot of the Philadelphia Water Department.

In all, three people were received by local hospitals, including the driver.

As the news account stated, SEPTA authorities are still unsure why the bus driver lost control.

It is presumed that the accident investigation is ongoing.
